WSC Softball Camps
Youth Fielding and Hitting Camp

Who: Girls Grades 3-6
When: September 19th, 2010
Where: Wayne State Softball Field
Time: Check-in from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Camp from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $50 (No Refunds)

Session Topics to Include:
• Fielding: Defensive drills, glove drills, throwing drills, and footwork.
• Hitting: Stance, balance, trigger, and upper and lower body mechanics.
• Short game: Bunting, slapping, and drag bunting.
• Learning your position: Get to learn 3 positions you get to choose

ITEMS TO BRING: Players should come dressed for participation. It is recommended
that you bring cleats and water. All players must provide their own gloves, bats, and
appropriate attire for sliding.
