2011 Skills Camp

Fundamental Session Topics to Include:

• Fielding: Defensive drills, glove drills, throwing drills, and footwork.
• Hitting: Mechanics, Hitting the Inside and Outside Pitches
• Base Running/Sliding: Strategies for base running and sliding
• Short game:  Bunting, slapping, and drag bunting.
• Speed and Agility: Ladders and agility drills
• Team Building and Goal Setting

All participants will receive a Wayne State Softball Camp T-Shirt.

Please RSVP by November 28th.    (If weather is bad we will reschedule for the next weekend.)

ITEMS TO BRING:  Players should come dressed for participation.  It is recommended that you bring tennis shoes (NO black soled shoes) and water.  All players must provide their own gloves, bats, and appropriate attire for sliding.

LOCATION: Wayne State Recreation Center @ WSC (parking available in Rec parking lot), 1111 Main Street, Wayne, NE 68787.
